How Care
Reaches You.
A reflective course on asking, listening and making everyday care workable.
Care involves more than a good intention. It also involves the situation, what is welcome, what each person can offer, and what happens when an offer misses. This course explores those conversations through ordinary examples and optional private reflections, without assigning anyone a fixed type.
Start with the situation.
Leave room for an answer.
You can care about someone and still be unsure what would help. A surprise, a conversation or an offer of assistance may fit one day and not another. Rather than assigning either person a category, this course begins with the circumstances and the freedom to say what is welcome.
Explore everyday decisions, consent, practical responsibilities and follow-through through 21 written lessons. The reflections can be completed privately or with fictional examples. No joint conversation, disclosure or relationship outcome is required.

Does this course assign a relationship type?
No. There is no scoring, fixed preference category or assessment. You will consider particular situations, ask what is welcome, and leave room for needs and answers to change.
Do I need a partner to take it?
No. The course is for adults and can be completed privately. Examples include friendships, families, shared responsibilities and role boundaries. No joint conversation, disclosure or contact is required.
What if a relationship feels unsafe?
Do not use a joint conversation exercise where refusal could bring intimidation, retaliation or harm. Skip any exercise, protect your privacy and consider independent specialist support. This course is not crisis support, therapy or a safety plan.
