Agreement

By accessing or using My Inner Foundation ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or, where acting on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

The Service

My Inner Foundation provides self-paced educational and reflective courses on relationships, identity, attention, stress, family life, and personal-development topics, delivered as written lessons, prompts, and practices through this website and iOS app. The courses are not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or crisis care.

Membership, Payment, Billing & Refunds

Access may be provided through monthly or yearly membership unless otherwise stated. For purchases made through the iOS app, billing, subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store and your Apple ID. Refund eligibility and processing are determined by Apple. My Inner Foundation cannot approve, guarantee, or issue App Store refunds directly.

For purchases made on the website through Paddle, Paddle.com may act as Merchant of Record. Website billing, taxes, cancellation mechanics, and refund support may be handled by Paddle and governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Website Paddle purchases and iOS Apple purchases are separate billing channels; an iOS user will not be sent to Paddle to unlock digital content in the app.

Course Access & Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the course library while your membership or authorised access remains active, for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not share, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display course content, nor circumvent any technical access controls.

Account & Accuracy

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Intellectual Property

Original wording and original materials created by My Inner Foundation are protected where applicable. Third-party works and protected materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Mentioning, quoting or citing a framework does not imply ownership, endorsement, certification or permission to reproduce protected content.

Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the Site, including unlawful use; fraud or spam; infringement of intellectual property; interference with security; reverse engineering; scraping; or attempting to access the Site in unauthorised ways.

Not a Substitute for Professional Support

The courses are educational and self-development resources. They are not therapy, clinical treatment, diagnosis, crisis support, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis or immediate danger, please contact emergency services, a crisis line, or a qualified professional.

Service Level & Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights concerning refunds, remedies, gross negligence, fraud, death or personal injury. The fee cap and exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to access the courses ends.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law, disputes may be brought before South African courts. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer's non-excludable right to bring a claim in another competent court.
