5 Modules · 15 Lessons · For People

You have been managing your body. Not living in it.

A 5-module written course on your psychological relationship with your own body. Not weight, not fitness, not appearance. The quiet war most people have been fighting for decades — where it came from, what it costs, and how to stop.

Most people are not in their bodies. They are managing them. This course addresses the psychological relationship with the body: where the war came from, what it costs, and what a ceasefire looks like.

What this course helps you explore
People who have spent years in a difficult, critical, or disconnected relationship with their body Anyone who has tried every approach to the body — diet, exercise, wellness — and still does not feel at home in it People whose body has been a source of shame, anxiety, or ongoing struggle Anyone who suspects the war with their body is actually about something else entirely
The Premise

The work beneath
You have been managing your body. Not living in it.

This course is designed to help you slow the pattern down, understand what is happening underneath it, and begin practising a steadier, kinder way forward. It does not ask you to become someone else. It helps you return to yourself with more clarity, language, and choice.

Most people are not in their bodies. They are managing them. This course addresses the psychological relationship with the body: where the war came from, what it costs, and what a ceasefire looks like.
The Course

5 Modules. 15 Lessons

Each module is a place to understand one layer more clearly. Move slowly. Let the language meet the part of your life that has needed more care, more honesty, and a more hopeful way forward.

01
Module 1
The War and How It Started

The way you relate to your body was learned. This module traces where the difficulty began: what you absorbed about bodies from your family, your culture, your earliest experiences — and what it would mean to question it.

02
Module 2
The Body as Project

The body keeps a record. This module works with the somatic dimension of your relationship with your body (what lives in the chest, the gut, the jaw) and what those sensations are trying to communicate.

03
Module 3
The Body After Everything

Shame about the body is almost always attached to something specific. This module identifies the precise sources of your body shame and begins the work of separating the body from the verdict that has been placed on it.

04
Module 4
The Body’s Intelligence

The body has an intelligence that the mind is often too busy to hear. This module develops the capacity to listen: to hunger, to tiredness, to discomfort, as information rather than inconvenience.

05
Module 5
The Body as Home

What would it mean to inhabit your body rather than manage it? This module is about developing a different kind of relationship: not acceptance as resignation, but genuine presence in the body you actually have.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Is this a weight loss course? +

No. This course does not address weight, diet, or physical health directly. It addresses the psychological relationship with the body: the chronic adversarial relationship most people have with their physical selves, where it came from, and what a different relationship might look like.

Is this for people with eating disorders? +

The course addresses the ordinary, pervasive difficulties most people have with their bodies, not clinical eating disorders. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, please seek specialist support. This course is for the unclinical but very real adversarial relationship that exists on a spectrum well below clinical disorder.

What is the format? +

Fully written, self-paced, membership access. No videos. 5 modules, 15 lessons, each 10–15 minutes. Material that benefits from slowness: reading, sitting with, returning to.

What makes this different from body positivity? +

Body positivity asks you to love your body. This course does not. It asks for something more honest and more achievable: to understand the relationship you have with your body, where it came from, and whether you want to keep it. Love is not the goal. Understanding is.

Will this fix my relationship with food? +

It will give you a framework for understanding what your relationship with food is actually about. The course is not a fix. It is an honest examination that gives you the understanding to make different choices.
