The Premise

The work beneath
A Structural Map for Sustained Depletion.

This course is designed to help you slow the pattern down, understand what is happening underneath it, and begin practising a steadier, kinder way forward. It does not ask you to become someone else. It helps you return to yourself with more clarity, language, and choice.

Burnout can involve more than tiredness. This course explores demands, resources, boundaries, and routines as reflective topics; it does not diagnose burnout or promise recovery.
The Course

5 Modules. Self-paced lessons

Each module is a place to understand one layer more clearly. Move slowly. Let the language meet the part of your life that has needed more care, more honesty, and a more hopeful way forward.

01
Module 1
Understanding Your Depletion

The difference between tiredness and burnout, and why this distinction determines everything about what you do next. A reflective module: what kind of depletion are you noticing, and what circumstances may be contributing?

02
Module 2
The Structural Pattern

Burnout can be shaped by demands, resources, autonomy, values, and emotional labour. This module offers questions for reflection rather than an individual diagnosis.

03
Module 3
The Body in Recovery

Burnout can affect how a person feels and functions. This module discusses rest, routines, and body awareness as educational topics; individual needs and responses vary.

04
Module 4
Redesigning the System

Not the holiday, the structure. The changes to demand, environment, relationship, and role that address the actual cause rather than managing the symptoms.

05
Module 5
The Sustainable Life

The life available on the other side: not the absence of effort but the end of the chronic overdraft. What it feels like to give from a system that is not perpetually in the red.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

What is the difference between tiredness and burnout?

Tiredness resolves with rest. Burnout does not. Burnout is what happens when the system has been running beyond its sustainable limits for long enough that the capacity for rest itself is impaired, the person cannot recover even when the opportunity is available. It is structural depletion, not simple fatigue.

I've had rest and I'm still burnt out. What does this course offer?

The course explores demands, relationships, environments and routines that may contribute to feeling depleted. It offers reflective questions and planning ideas; it does not diagnose causes or promise recovery.

How long does burnout recovery take?

There is no universal recovery timeline, and exhaustion can have medical, psychological and situational contributors. This course offers educational reflection and planning; it cannot determine the cause or promise recovery. Seek qualified support for persistent, severe or unexplained symptoms.

Is this course for burnout from work specifically?

The course addresses burnout in the broadest sense: depletion produced by any sustained overextension, whether from work, caregiving, emotional labour, or the accumulated weight of an unsustainable life. The framework applies regardless of the source.
