Common Questions

Frequently asked

Is this a time-management or productivity course?

No. This course is not about squeezing more output from a crowded day. It focuses on the relational and emotional patterns through which your time becomes available to everyone except you: chronic interruption, preventable urgency, unreliable plans, guilt, over-explaining and the fear of disappointing people.

Will it teach me to cut difficult people off?

No. It teaches proportion. A genuine emergency, an isolated cancellation and a repeated pattern of disregard are not the same. The aim is to change your participation in costly patterns without using boundaries as punishment, contempt or a way to control another person.

What if someone genuinely depends on me?

Caregiving, parenting, employment and shared responsibilities can place real claims on time. The course does not pretend all availability is optional. It helps you distinguish necessary care from avoidable urgency, clarify what is truly yours to carry, and create more honest structures around responsibilities that cannot simply be declined.

Do I have to confront people?

No. Some limits need a conversation, but many begin through changed behaviour: confirming plans, ending calls when you said you would, responding during chosen hours, declining without a long defence, or offering less costly arrangements after repeated cancellations.

Is this therapy or treatment for burnout?

No. It is educational and reflective. It can help you understand patterns and practise clearer responses, but it cannot assess clinical burnout, coercion, workplace law, abuse or the safety of a particular relationship. Those situations may require qualified professional support.

How does access and progress work?

The course is included with My Inner Foundation membership. You can move at your own pace. Completed lessons and private journal responses are stored in your browser, and you can return whenever you are ready.
