The Premise

The work beneath
Build a Life That Works With Your Brain.

This course is designed to help you slow the pattern down, understand what is happening underneath it, and begin practising a steadier, kinder way forward. It does not ask you to become someone else. It helps you return to yourself with more clarity, language, and choice.

The Course

4 Modules. Self-paced lessons

Each module is a place to understand one layer more clearly. Move slowly. Let the language meet the part of your life that has needed more care, more honesty, and a more hopeful way forward.

01
Module 1
Understanding Attention and Executive Function

An educational introduction to attention, motivation, time, and task initiation as they may be experienced by adults with ADHD.

02
Module 2
Starting Tasks with Less Friction

Task initiation can be difficult for many reasons. This module explores optional entry strategies that some adults with ADHD experiences may find useful, without replacing assessment or individual support.

Some adults with ADHD describe difficulties estimating or tracking time. This module offers external reminders and planning ideas to try; usefulness and results vary.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Is this course only for people who have been diagnosed with ADHD?

A formal diagnosis is not required to read the course. Difficulties with attention, initiation, time or emotion can have many causes, and recognising these descriptions does not establish ADHD. Seek a qualified assessment if symptoms are persistent, distressing or impair daily life.

What is interest-based motivation and why does it matter?

Some people with ADHD report that interest, urgency, challenge or novelty affect attention and task initiation. Experiences vary, and no single motivation model describes everyone. This course offers optional practical strategies alongside educational context.

What is time blindness?

Time blindness is the experience of time as divided between 'now' and 'not yet real' rather than as a continuous flow. For many people with ADHD, a deadline two weeks away and a deadline two years away produce the same absence of urgency, because neither is now. This course addresses time blindness practically, with specific structures that create the external time signals the internal system doesn't generate.

Will this course help me get things done?

The course offers strategies such as task initiation supports, body doubling, time reminders and habit planning. Their usefulness varies, and the course does not diagnose, treat or manage ADHD as a clinical service.

Is ADHD Mastery a video course or a live workshop?

Neither. It is a written course. There are no videos, no live calls and no scheduled sessions — you read it, sit with it and return to it whenever it suits you.

How long does the course take?

This is a self-paced written course, with no set completion deadline. You can read at your own pace and return to lessons while you have access. Course access is governed by your membership terms; it does not continue indefinitely after membership ends.

What do I get, and how long do I keep it?

You can read the full written course online on any device while your All-Access membership is active, including any remaining paid-through period after cancellation. There is no course-completion deadline, but access ends when your paid membership access ends. One membership opens every course in the library, with no separate course fees.

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

No. Plenty of readers are undiagnosed, waiting for assessment or self-identified. The course is educational and does not diagnose anyone.

Is this therapy?

No. It is educational and reflective writing. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice or crisis support, and it does not replace working with a professional if you need one.
