After the Door Opened.

A course on the real work that begins when the journey ends.

The medicine showed you something. The afterglow fades. The world expects you to come back. This course is the language, the practice, and the structure for becoming someone who actually lives from what you saw, not just remembers it.

The Premise

The work beneath
After the Door Opened.

Psilocybin is a catalyst, not a destination. The experience is profound, but the experience is not the change. The change is what you do with the opening — over weeks, months, and years — in your nervous system, your relationships, your daily choices, your sense of who you are.

Most people are left alone with this. Neuroplasticity peaks, identity loosens, the old life looks different, and there is no language and no container for what is happening. This course is that container. It does not romanticise the journey or treat the medicine as the work. It treats the integration as the work, and gives you a structure for actually doing it.

The medicine showed you something. The job is to become someone who lives from that showing. This is slower, less glamorous, and infinitely more important than the journey itself.
The Course

7 Modules. 21 Self-paced lessons.

Each module is structured for a specific phase of the integration window. Move at the pace that fits your life and your nervous system. Return to lessons as the work deepens.

01
Module 1 · Days 1–3
After the Door Opened

What is actually happening in your brain and body in the first 72 hours. Neuroplasticity is at peak. Your task is not to understand the journey yet. It is to create the conditions in which integration can begin.

02
Module 2 · Days 4–7
The Meaning-Making Question

Move from "what happened" to "what does it mean." Research identifies existential confusion as the most common post-journey challenge. This module gives you the framework for extracting real insight from the experience.

03
Module 3 · Days 7–14
The Emotional Spectrum

The afterglow is fading. Grief is arriving. Anxiety has returned. The full spectrum of what the journey surfaced is now in the room. This module helps you hold it without splitting, suppressing, or spiritualising it away.

04
Module 4 · Weeks 2–4
The Body That Remembers

An insight that does not move the body is just a thought. This module roots the integration in the nervous system: polyvagal practice, somatic completion, and the embodied work that cognitive understanding alone cannot reach.

05
Module 5 · Weeks 3–6
The Values That Surfaced

The journey showed you what actually matters. Now translate that into concrete shifts: not a spiritual overhaul, real change. This module is the structure for moving from insight to lived life.

06
Module 6 · Weeks 4–8
Relationships and Identity

Some relationships deepen. Some need renegotiation. Some quietly end. People who knew the old you do not always know how to meet the person returning. This module is the navigation for what is changing relationally.

07
Module 7 · Weeks 6–12+
Integration vs Inflation — The Long View

By week twelve the experience becomes baseline. Did it actually change your life, or only how you talk about it? This final module gives you the test (and the ongoing practice) for the work that does not end.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

How long after my journey should I begin this course?

Ideally within the first one to three days. The integration window is real: neuroplasticity peaks during days five to fourteen post-journey. But the course also works months after, because integration is ongoing. Start when you can. Your pace is the right pace.

Will the insights from the journey fade?

The acute emotional intensity fades. This is normal and necessary. What matters is whether the experience has actually changed how you live. By week twelve you should be noticing concrete differences in your behaviour and choices, not sustained mystical states. The fade is integration doing its job.

Is this course a replacement for therapy?

No. This course provides understanding, education, and structured reflection, not therapeutic treatment. If your journey surfaced trauma, suicidal thoughts, severe dissociation, or psychotic symptoms, working with a qualified mental-health professional, especially one trained in psychedelic integration, is essential alongside this course.

What if the journey was difficult or frightening?

This course addresses challenging experiences directly. Difficult journeys often carry the deepest teachings. The modules cover the full emotional spectrum including fear, dissociation, ontological shock, and grief. You are not alone in having a hard journey, and integration support is most crucial when that is your experience.

How do I know if I am actually integrating or just inflating?

This is the central question of the course. Integration is humble and concrete: your daily life changes. Inflation is grandiose and identity-focused: your language changes but your life does not. The test: ask someone who knows you well whether you are actually different, or just talking differently. Trust their honest answer.

A gentle note before you begin

My Inner Foundation courses are educational and reflective. They are not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis support. If your psilocybin experience surfaced something difficult (suicidal thoughts, severe dissociation, psychotic symptoms, or a sense of unsafety), please contact a qualified mental-health professional or local emergency services. Integration support can sit alongside clinical care. Both have a place.
